Presenter Jennifer Lopez chose an iridescent pink silk organza gown from Armani Prive’s Spring 2010 collection. The mermaid gown featured a crescent-shaped bustier that cascaded into a dramatic side train lined with Swarovski rock crystals. Lopez finished off the look with Cartier jewels.

Demi Moore was stunning in a ruffled silk organza gown from Atelier Versace. Finishing touches included Van Cleef & Arpels face-framing drop earrings and diamond cuffs, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and platform satin sandals.

After initially choosing a blue dress, Up in the Air star and Best Supporting Actress nominee Anna Kendrick went with a soft pink off-the-shoulder, hand-draped gown from Elie Saab Couture, Kwiat jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch for her walk down the red carpet. “I never thought I’d wear pink…but pink it is!” she said.

Best Actress nominee Meryl Streep looked white-hot in a gorgeously draped, long-sleeve gown by Chris March. The Julie & Julia star (who has been nominated for an Oscar 16 times!) added a pair of diamond and black onyx bracelets, diamond earrings and a diamond and onyx ring all by Fred Leighton, wore Jimmy Choos, and carried a silver crystal mesh clutch by Swarovski.

Best Actress nominee Sandra Bullock looked luminous in a metallic and lace Marchesa gown. The Blind Side star wouldn’t predict a potential win, but she did express worry over reports that the Oscars stage could prove tricky for stars in stilettos. The star, in Jimmy Choo platforms, said, “If I step up on that stage tonight, I just don’t want these heels to pull this body down!” she said.

Best Supporting Actress nominee Penelope Cruz looked ravishing in a bordeaux duchess satin draped gown by Donna Karan. The Nine star complemented her ensemble with pear-shaped diamond drop earrings and stacked diamond bracelets by Chopard.

“Thank you!” said a gracious Cameron Diaz when she received a compliment on her glittering Oscar de la Renta gown, which she accessorized with a priceless white gold and diamond ring from the Cartier Private Archive collection.

The Runaways star Kristen Stewart stood out from the sea of nude and vibrantly colored dresses in a strapless midnight blue silk satin organza gown by Monique Lhuillier. The Twilight Saga actress finished the look with a diamond bracelet by H. Stern and Bally shoes.

Best Actress nominee Gabourey Sidibe was all smiles in a cobalt blue off-the-shoulder dress by Marchesa and over 180-carats of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. “I don’t believe my life right now. This is craziness!†the breakout star said.

Rachel McAdams floated down the red carpet in Elie Saab’s colorful strapless gown from the Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection. The romantic gown was made with panels of organza and mousseline and featured a demure sweetheart neckline and hand-pleated bodice in a swirling print of pinks, blues and green. The actress accessorized her look with Salvatore Ferragamo’s lilac satin clutch and statement-making rose-cut Lorraine Schwartz diamond pendant earrings.

Presenter Tina Fey chose a beaded black leopard print, one-shoulder Michael Kors gown. The 30 Rock star finished the look with an elegant black Kotur clutch and drop earrings from Stephen Russell.

Amanda Seyfried wowed in Giorgio Armani Prive’s sculptural sea foam green silk gown, Brian Atwood sandals and an armful of dazzling bangles from Lorraine Schwartz. The intricate design featured a structured Swarovski crystal bustier and a full skirt made of mesh panel overlays.
