1. Group Hug | Milan Fashion Week
Milan fashion week has only just begun, but it was interesting to see how some key themes in the men’s-wear shows, which took place here in January, have carried into the women’s. 3. Rising Star: Minna Hepburn, Fashion Designer
Trendy and environmentally conscious, is what comes to mind when one is browsing through Minna Hepburn’s fashion collection. The Finnish-born designer started slow and steady from her Dorset home and has always strived to minimize the environmental impact of her collections. The brand has grown, and is now being sold in Harrod’s and the Chelsea boutique Emily Evans among others.

4. Fashion’s Latest Fixation
It seems as if Burberry is breaking another visual barrier with it’s latest Fashion show. The entire show, that took place in London while airing in 5 major fashion capitals around the world, required viewers to don (fashionable, of course) 3D glasses to enjoy it. Rumor has it that this has sparked a large trend and will eventually become a standard in fashion shows, especially because Fendi has already started shooting in 3D.

5. Men Sex It Up with High Heels
It seems that men are borrowing much more heavily from women in the fashion department. High heels have made a comeback for high fashion-conscious men, who will only don the best in women’s footwear to satisfy their aesthetic cravings. According to a sales associate from a hip Toronto-based shoe store, “They squish their toes in. They will suffer the pain, they want it so bad.”
